Every Final Fantasy shares a few
things.
Much like many stories, Final Fantasy has
"the good guys", "the bad guys", and the classic clash of good
against evil. Although they share the same name, each Final
Fantasy is different from the last. For example, Final Fantasy
IV has no plot relationship with Final Fantasy IX. Fans love
these games for their in depth story lines and realistic
character personalities.
 Cid
Every Final Fantasy contains a man named Cid
who normally provides your party with an airship (with the exception
of Final Fantasy I, VI, and XII). Although he is not typically
the fighting type, Cid does join your team in Final Fantasy IV and
VII in order to help you defeat the antagonist of the game.

Moogles
Moogles are cute little creatures who are
very informative and give good advice to novice players. Also,
these little guys deliver mail in some of the Final Fantasy games
through a system called Mognet. These adorable plush-like
creatures may not be part of the central theme of Final Fantasy, but they add a silliness to the
game in order to lighten up the fighting mood. Moogles
and chocobos seem to have some sort of connection, but nobody is
quite certain as to why.
 Chocobos
Chocobos are a means of faster
transportation in the Final Fantasy games and are kind of like
mascots to the series along with the moogles and Cid. Chocobos
and their theme song provide a fun sort of atmosphere to this series
of games and in Final Fantasy VII and IX you even get to raise
them. Raising chocobos is a whole other venture in itself and
as you rear your chocobo(s) they may obtain special abilities such
as, mountain climbing, walking on water, and flying. Chocobos
come in all sorts of colors with the most popular probably being
black.
